On this very day 13 years ago, Bon Jovi were on their 12-night run at the O2 arena in London. So technically, our "time machine" jumps forward 20 years, but stays in London and at the third night :D
After a stale start, the show really picked up momentum halfway through it in terms of song choices!
Looking at the date, this was just the time I was graduating from school and had finished my last exam two days earlier. So I don't remember much from that time other than it was a great time with a lot of parties :) And the band's Indian Summer-peak fits right in at memory lane.
The sound was reworked from the original recording, thanks to my good friend for providing it in higher than CD quality which always gives more room for improvements to start with. I'm not entirely sure of the taper's position or how well the arena was packed, but the recording definitely picked up quite some echo which usually occurs under the rafters or when the sound feeds back from empty seats. Besides all of that, and after having gone overboard with the first remaster (trashed all of it), I think the second attempt ended up in the direction I wanted it to sound :)
