The public is invited to the City of Glendale's 16th Annual Celebration of the life and work of Cesar Chavez on Saturday, March 25, 2017 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm at the Pacific Community Center, 501 S. Pacific Ave.
Cesar Chavez was one of the most significant heroes of the working man and woman during the 20th century. As leader of the United Farm Workers, he helped to improve working conditions for future generations. He was also one of the first advocates for food produced without pesticides.
The event will feature live performances, free tacos while supplies last, Glendale Rocks! climbing wall, crafts for children, and more.
Please join us this day to honor an American hero who made a difference in our country.
