Even though things seem crazy and you may not know whats next for your life, remember you have a purpose and God loves you! Spending last weekend hiking with my family at HaHa Tonka state park was so refreshing. One of the things I have really been learning through the last several weeks is to be more patient on God's timing. I struggle at wanting to rush into something on my own without really taking the time to find what God wants for my life.
These last couple weeks although I still dont know exactly what God has in store. Has been a great time just to really rest in His presence and to really recenter my passions and my motives. In the past I have always been thirsting for adventure. Always trying to do something really cool or to travel somewhere really amazing. But I always would come back from my adventures wanting more. It never would be enough. It wasn't until I realized that I needed to center my identity in Christ. That I finally found contentment in what I was doing. Yes I still love to travel but I dont go into a hike or a trip with the same mindset of centering it around me. Instead I just want to inspire, to reach you guys to help you through things and to give you hope.
25 Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to your life[a]? 26 Since you cannot do this very little thing, why do you worry about the rest?
32 “Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom. 33 Sell your possessions and give to the poor. Provide purses for yourselves that will not wear out, a treasure in heaven that will never fail, where no thief comes near and no moth destroys. 34 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. Luke 12: 25-26, 32-34
