This video shows the difference between Newtonian fluid and Non Newtonian fluid. In Newtonian fluid viscosity of the fluid is constant and in case of Non Newtonian fluid viscosity is not constant but changing either increases or decreases. If viscosity increases with shear rate then fluid is known as Dilatant or shear thickening and if viscosity is decreases with shear rate then fluid known as pseudo plastic or shear thinning fluid.
