Most weeks I am comparing guitars for customers who ask me to give them my considered opinion on price variations and brands I recommend.
This one is so interesting for me personally because I am comparing a wonderful guitar in the Faith FNCEHG ( See customer reviews here [ Ссылка ] ) against a step up in price in the Eastman AC422CE ( [ Ссылка ] )
I also refer to the upgrade from the Eastman AC422CE which is the AC722CE with additional wood bindings and extraordinary detailing [ Ссылка ]
Something that I DIDN'T say enough about - and I feel REALLY bad about - is that the Faith is an AMAZING all round package. Regardless of the points I raised where I PERSONALLY appreciate the detailed and present tone of the Eastman (some will just as easily prefer the Faith tone) and therefore justifying the price increase - it is incredibly important to note what you DO get over and beyond the Eastman and that is the incredible cosmetic detail. The flame maple bindings are beautiful and the whole presentational package of the Faith, combined with the quality of build and high quality tone woods need to be factored in considering it is £200 cheaper than the Eastman.
I felt really awkward saying anything negative about the Faith but you have to bare in mind these guitars are both top personal recomendations and I have to make comparisons because that is my job!
So... with that said... I would highly recommend you look at what competing brands are offering at this price (£800 - £1000) and you will find they don't often come close!
