What do electricians mean when we say "first fix", "second fix" and "final fix"?
First fix: where we make sure all our cabling and "hidden" electrical objects are in the right place.
Second fix: After the plastering of walls has been done and other trades have done what they need to, we'll fit out sockets, switches and fuse boards. The "visible" part of our work!
Final fix: This is where we do our final testing and make sure everything is in full working order.
