Open OpenOffice Writer file that you need.
Go to Insert at the top menu bar. Choose Comment from the list. A comment field will appear at the right side of the document. Add the comment that you need. Easy.
You can also do it another way. Select the part of the text you want to add the comment to. Go to Insert at the top menu bar. Choose Comment from the list. A comment field will appear at the right side of the document. Add the comment that you need. Easy.
Another way is to use hot keys. Select the text that you need to comment. Press Ctrl+Alt+C to add the comment. A comment field will appear at the right side of the document. Add the comment that you need. Easy.
If you want to remove the comment, click on the arrow next to the comment pop-up. Choose Delete comment from the list. You can also Choose Delete all comments or Delete all comments by unknown author.
