Ma Long lost matches last year, he didn't lose before, at first Pitchford than Harimoto. Shortly after he couldn't play tournaments due to an injury. And with time the news got worse as his knee injury seemed more serious. Some started saying, it might be a career ender.
But it just awoke the dragon, for he is the king. He was the one winning 2015 and 2017. And he trained to come back, nurturing sparkles of fires. And he did come back, winning two tour titles, even the China Open - beating also Harimoto.
He showed, he is the dragon. And dragons have an inborn desire for gold which he already collected in many ways, worldchampionships and Olympia. And he would do anything to protect it. So he ignited the fire within the dragon during training. Till he exploded in the worldchampionships in Budapest again. Crushing through opponents and till the final against Falck.
The dragon is to fear for his weapons! For he is the king!
