There is no one who better represents the new generation of Taiwan pop music scene than ØZI. At just 21 years of age, ØZI has already proven his multifaceted talents by successfully mastering the roles of not just a singer, but also a writer, composer, producer, mixer, and music video director. Asian culture has exploded onto the global scene in recent years and ØZI is undoubtedly the perfect fusion of the East and the West. In collaboration with producers RAZOR Chiang and Mickey Lin, ØZI created the hottest hip-hop and R&B beats that incorporates Taiwanese vibes that his Western fans have yearned for. In July of 2018, his debut self-titled album, ØZI: THE ALBUM, became an instant hit and sold out within 10 days of its release. Not only is his music praised by Taiwan’s most iconic rapper and hit producer STARR CHEN, his natural command over striking visuals is also recognized by pop diva, aMEI.
The song “B.O.” (for “blackout”) illustrates a romantic encounter at a dimly-lit bar. The musical arrangement is to-the-point and bolstered by the precise designs of bass and percussion, the resulting groove is simply irresistible. ØZI invited 9m88 — a real breath of fresh air in the Taiwan’s pop music world — to perform with him as a duo, her silky and jazzy R&B rendition and his powerful rap serve as a modern interpretation of the doctrines of urban love.

沒有人能比 21 歲的 ØZI 更能代表台灣下一個世代的流行音樂。他集合所有歌手、藝人所渴望的特質於一身，從寫歌、編曲、製作、混音到 MV 導演皆能一手包辦。在近年全球爆發的亞洲文化浪潮之中，ØZI 無疑是東西方最完美的融合體。在名製作人剃刀蔣、米奇林的協助之下，他信手拈來時下最潮的嘻哈與 R&B 律動，結合令西方樂迷嚮往的台灣情調，於 2018 年 7 月打造出足以征服世界樂壇的首張同名專輯《ØZI: THE ALBUM》，並在發行後短短十天內銷售一空。他的音樂除了受到台灣首席饒舌歌手蛋堡與當紅製作人 STARR CHEN 的推崇，其駕馭影像的能力更為天后張惠妹賞識。
〈B.O.〉的意思就是 black out，描述一場在燈光朦朧的酒吧展開的浪漫邂逅。編曲上並沒有過多的裝飾，以精準的 bass 和 percussion 設計撐起整首歌讓人難以抗拒的 groove。ØZI 特別邀請到同樣在近年成為台灣流行音樂新希望的歌姬 9m88 一同合唱，以 silky 的 R&B 與 jazzy 唱腔詮釋年輕世代的城市愛情原則。
