Alcatraz prison was a maximum security prison located on an island in California's San Fransisco Bay. It housed some of the worlds most dangerous and notorious criminals during its serving as a prison from 1934 to 1963. Many attempts were made to escape from the so called inescapable prison but most failed. There where however three men who are thought to have been the only to escape Alcatraz Prison. Their escape has gone on to be one of the most well known prison escapes in history and the legend still lives on.

Today, Alcatraz prison is a tourist attraction and continues to be brought up from time to time about whether those three men did really escape the worlds hardest to escape prison!
