DAL FRY
Toor dal - 1/2 cup green chilli- 1 no (split)
Salt to taste
Turmeric powder (haldi)- 1/4tsp
water -1.5 cup
3-4 whistles
for1st tempering
ghee-2tbsp
cumin seed (jeera) - 1tsp
Green chilli &garlic paste - 2tbsp
Onion - 1 chopped
tomato- 1 chopped
Salt to taste
red chilli powder- 1 tsp
Coriander powder (dhaniya powder)- 1/2 tsp
garm masala - 1/2 tsp
water- splash
pore the Boiled dal
for 2nd tempering
ghee - tbsp
hing- pinch of
red chilli powder-1tsp
Coriander powder (dhaniya powder) - 1/2 tsp
garam masala- 1tsp
dry red chilli (small)- 1 or 2
JEERA RICE
rice - 2cup
wash it twice
put a water on gas to boil
:squeeze half lemon and put the squeezed lemon into water (chilka) to it and Salt to taste
: cook the rice 70 - 80 %
( using this method rice will have good shine )
for tempering
ghee - 2tbsp
cumin seed (jeera ) 2 tbsp
put Boiled rice
Salt to taste
Coriander
