Al Jolson was one of the greatest singers from the first half of the 20th century. His name was well known, and as result there was a lot of budget releases featuring "Songs Al Jolson Made Famous". This is Crowns tribute album to "The world's greatest entertainer"(CLP-5040), released in 1957 and was only made in single run. Releases later then early 1958 drop the album on the list of albums that all Crown releases had bellow the liner notes. I hope you enjoy this fantastic selection by Doug Elliot, who has a remarkably similar voice at times to Al Jolson.
