This is a Spanish story from the Abierto 4 curriculum, unit 55 called La Bella Durmiente, or in English: Sleeping Beauty. This story is meant to be used at the start of the school year to welcome students back to class and to get them chatting about their summer break. This story can easily be leveled up to support your higher-level classes by using more abstract discussions, content-specific language, or cultural and cross-curricular content. There are 3 versions to choose from:

1. The first 1/3 is using Spanish in context with storytelling
2. The second 1/3 has the Spanish and English text side-by-side (possibly for absent students or if a student needs additional help)
3. The last 1/3 is just the audio
