Notes from the desk of Morris Corneilius Watchman, The Voice of PRN-PRN:
We have a very lovely treat for everyone. The P.R. Nightmares showed up to PRN-PRN Studios to do a live, impromptu cover performance of "Happy Birthday", by the legendary "Weird Al" Yankovic, in honor of his birthday.
The Nightmares' lead singer, Arn-Iowan Auditorius, prepared a message for the occasion. It reads:
"This goes out to the man who was the very first, biggest influence on the P.R. Nightmares. I’d go so far to say that without him, The Nightmares wouldn’t even be a thing. I’m speaking, of course, about the legendary 'Weird Al' Yankovic; who on this day, October 23rd, 2020, is turning 61 years young. In honor of the day, and because Al is such a groovy guy, we decided to arrange a cover of his classic song from his self-titled album, “Happy Birthday”, and play it for Al, and all of you, right here on The P.R. Nightmares Pirate Radio Network. So, in the hopes that he’s out there listening… HAPPY BIRTHDAY, AL!!!!"
The P.R. Nightmares were accompanied by a special vocal cameo from LEMI MOTO: The Sing-along Girl.
So, from all of us at PRN-PRN, Happy Birthday, Al... and keep on listening.
