Here DRS Driver Dave works 33111 very well through Sharpthorne Tunnel on the Bluebell Railway (2024 Diesel Gala), on the 13:15 working, towing the 4VEP up to East Grinstead
PLEASE NOTE: The 'VEP' cannot move under its own power on the mainline until it has all the relevant safety systems installed and passed off to do so - it will also not be taking power on the mainline back from the Bluebell and can't do so on these moves due to the requirement of having the 3rd rail shoes temporarily removed in order to access the Bluebell. Whilst on the Bluebell, the unit's brake and power handle are communicating with the class 33 and this loco is doing all the work as requested by the driver (on all runs away from East Grinstead)
This video was filmed on my Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra
The 4VEP's consist includes:
S76263 (DTCsoL),
S62236 (MBSO) - originally from another unit I do believe,
S70797 (TSO),
S76262 (DTCsoL)
Thank you very much for watching, I really appreciate it. I hope you enjoy
