This demo showcases the functional and tonal capabilities of the Palladium Gain Stage Pedal paired with the PowerStage 700 when running direct.
Palladium Gain Stage Pedal:
Palladium is a high gain pre-amp pedal that captures the authentic tone and feel of history's favorite high gain tube amps. Palladium features three gain stages: a gain stage to control the overall saturation, a resonance control for low frequency gain shaping and a boost control that adds overdrive to the beginning of the signal path. These three gain stages allow for a versatile range of tones, from classic rock at lower settings to modern metal at higher gain settings. The pedal also offers a comprehensive EQ, with bass, treble, presence and sweepable midrange-frequency control, so you can make Palladium sound perfect in front of any amp.

PowerStage 700 Stereo Rackmountable Amp:
PowerStage 700 is a revolutionary power amp designed specifically for guitarists using modelers, pedals and effects processors to create their tone. With discrete stereo ins and outs you can reproduce your carefully crafted amp sounds in massive detail, with power, clarity and a warmth that will take even state-of-the-art modeled tones to the next level. And with the True Cab Circuitry (TCC)™ on the XLR line outputs, you can send your tone direct to the front of house—with all the feel and response of a speaker—even as you monitor through a cabinet onstage. Another huge benefit of the PowerStage is its musically voiced 3-band EQ. This allows you to fine-tune your sound, quickly and with precision, without scrolling through menus or editing patches.
PowerStage 700 is compatible with any guitar cabinet, whether its 4, 8, or 16 ohms. And, it can plug into any cabinet at any impedance anywhere in the world, thanks to its versatile 100v-240v power supply.
In the studio, PowerStage 700 can be your secret weapon. By using the XLR outs, you can plug your pedalboard into the PowerStage and all of your impedance issues will disappear. This allows you to run your pedals straight into your DAW—with full speaker simulation – no mics required! With its stereo operation, you can send your pedalboard into one channel and then run the other side completely dry into another, facilitating complex layers, reamping and more.

Sound Sample 3:
Showcases the following isolated sound samples from the Palladium Gain Stage User Guide Sample Settings:
Sound Sample 3a -- PowerStage 700 clean tone running direct, Palladium Gain Stage is not engaged
Sound Sample 3b -- Palladium "90s Hard Rock" Setting - Slightly ducked midrange and tons of gain combine to nail the tone of chunky 90’s hard rock. Big bottom end, articulate on the top end and enough presence to cut through a very heavy rhythm section. Kick on the Boost and move seamlessly into a searing solo tone.
Sound Sample 3c -- Palladium "MotherJamChainsGarden" Setting - Flash back in time to 1992, when people were flocking to theaters to see Singles and the sound of Seattle ruled the airwaves. Aggressive, edgy and articulate - this setting is perfect for tight chording and chunky rhythm work. Step on the Boost button to kick in a little extra grit for a great solo tone.
Sound Sample 3d -- Palladium "Brown Sound" Setting - Pull that pointy headstock guitar out of the closet, plug it into this setting and transport yourself instantly back to the Sunset Strip circa 1983. Fans of hard rock and hair metal will love how this setting endlessly sustains for those tremolo dive bombs and two handed tapping sections.
