In this video, we demonstrate how to use a single predictor variable (x) to estimate the average value of a response variable (y) using the least squares linear model. We will perform the necessary calculations by hand to find the slope and y-intercept of the regression line. We will then form the line Y= a + bX, where b is our slope and a is our y-intercept.
