The second bike is up on the lift! Let's see if it shares the same problems as the first one or if it has its own set of problems. They are both 1995 Honda XR80r kids' dirt bikes. We'll rebuild the carburetor, check the valve lash, replace the spark plug, clean the chain and go over everything else. These little motorcycles are lot of fun and easy to work on.
The intent of these videos is to help beginners understand how these bikes work and how to fix them when they don't! Although motorcycles come in different sizes and configurations from many manufacturers, there are far more similarities than differences between them. By taking your time and using simple tools it is possible to do a lot of the work yourself and keep the cost of repairs to a minimum. Motorcycle engine repair doesn't need to be complicated.
