Earlier this month, world leaders assembled in Papua New Guinea for the annual Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit - the biggest event in the country's history.
However, government critics say hosting the APEC summit was a costly affair, especially when the country faces many challenges. And the spread of tuberculosis is one of those problems they cite.
