Honest to god, this is the best insurance system for your 12V battery system. For $119 you need to purchase the Renogy battery monitor.

This little beauty lets you monitor your batteries health, discharge rate and even tells you how long you have left, before your battery is flat.

Now I need to say, I am not an auto electrician, and I am pretty average at 12 volt. So take everything I say with a grain of salt.

Now in this video I show you how to install the Renogy battery monitor. I have wired it into my car's 12 volt system. But this would also work on a campervan or RV.
