Please read this description!
Reverb in Blue Marvin is really dark - it has pronounced low frequency resonation and doesn't transfer mid and higher frequencies well.
Reverb in Vermona Formation 2 transfers mid and higher frequencies quite well and sounds much clearer and more like real acoustic or digital reverb, but still with lot of porsonality in it.
I recorded this quick comparison because I think spring reverb from Blue Marvin really is not that great and universal, especially side by side with longer better vintage spring in Vermona Formation 2 - analog transistor organ (where I had add external input).
I recommend quality monitors or headphones.
Sound in the video is straight out of my mixer, without any editing.
Please listen in stereo - both used spring reverbs use phase-flip between left and right channels, so in mono it will be canceled!
In fact, reverb in Vermona Formation 2 is only mono, but for proper comparison I have panned it to right channel and phase reversed it in Blue Marvin voltage processor (those red and green cables) for left channel
