Background:
In response to the 'The Guinness Guru ' review of ' Best pint of Guinness in BELFAST', ( 15 Jun 2021 ), I decided to test the recommendation of Madden's Bar, being one of the best pints of Guinness in Belfast. ( Tasted at time of review )
Guru review here: ( [ Ссылка ] )
Preparation:
I had one pint of Guinness as a baseline in Bittles bar.
Review:
Creamy pint. No bitterness. Great sktick. Good flavour of Guinness throughout. Not overly gassy. Settles cleanly. Nice condensation layer. Creamy head, but dissolves after a bit (will put this down to the hot weather!). Everyone in the bar ordered Guinness.
Conclusion:
A proper little Irish pub, with the Antrim Gaelic football flag on the wall. The Guinness, in my opinion, is on power on the best pint of Guinness, in Belfast (Bittles). The music in the bar is choice. They went from Doors ROTS, to Chess (One Night in Bangkok), in a heartbeat. Bold choice. The bar itself is Irish Bar. But not pretending to be and Irish bar. It's a hard drinking, Guinness drinking, Northern Ireland version of a German beer hall; but smaller.
Price:
At time of review : £4.00 ( cash only )
