Ingredients:
1. 500 gm grated carrots (Gajar).
2. 100 gm sugar.
3. 200 ml thick milk. (You can also make gajar ka halwa with khoya or mawa).
4. Crushed Cashew.
5. Raisins.
6. Green Cardamom.

Method of How to make Gajar Ka Halwa at home:
Step 1 - Heat the pan and add 2 tbsp ghee.
Step 2 – Add bay leaves and green cardamom. Stir it regularly.
Step 3 - Now add grated carrots and cook in low flame. Stir it regularly.
Step 4 – Stir it regularly with high flame. Again low the flame and close the lid. Cook for 5 minutes.
Step 5 - Add sugar. Use high flame to mix sugar very well.
Step 6 - Add thick milk. Stir it regularly. Cook for 5 minutes.
Again low the flame and close the lid. Step 7 – Then add crushed cashew and raisins. Cook it in low flame and mix it well with halwa. Cook for 5 minutes.
