On August 19th in the early morning, Bengal Safari Park's tiger count rose to 13 as Tigress 'Rica' delivered three cubs. CCTV footage captured by Safari officials displayed the newborn cubs being nurtured by their mother. The trio of adorable cubs, along with their mother, are in excellent health and under the watchful eye of CCTV cameras. WB Forest Affairs Minister Jyoti Priya Mallick, speaking to ANI, shared, "This is fantastic news for wildlife enthusiasts and everyone alike, as Rika, the sole tigress in Bengal Safari, has given birth to three cubs. They're all in great health. We're taking all necessary measures to care for her, with the assistance of specialized veterinary doctors, and constant surveillance through CCTV cameras." The authorities are also planning to introduce a 'Lion safari' at the park in the near future.
