This is the final world in the game. Considering it is that, how cool the Squirrel Tree theme was, and how bad-ass Vikings are, I was quite surprised and honestly a little disappointed with this theme. :P I mean, it's fun! But it's very light-hearted, I had expected something a bit rougher or darker. ;) The arps are great, though!

This is part of the soundtrack of Hugo Advance, also known as Hugo: The Evil Mirror. David Filskov and Thomas Bendt are credited for music and sound design; I have no idea how the work was split between these. In any case, this game has a great soundtrack, and I wanted to share it. The game itself is rather obscure: I was working on this project in April and May of 2020, and back then there was hardly any footage of it on YouTube at all. It turns out that since then, a full longplay was uploaded, and also a video of a GBC version of the game, which I didn't know existed.
Anyway, this game is great! I'm glad it's getting more coverage, and as the soundtrack is great too I wanted to finish this project. :)
It took a while to complete it because of the Jingles video. I thought there might be a jingle for completing the game (which indeed there is), and to hear it I needed to complete the game again. However, when I did so, my game crashed, and this happened every time. It turns out my high scores got corrupted, and if I'd want to record the very short game complete jingle I'd have to reset my save and replay the game once more... I'm afraid that if I'd wait for that, I would never upload this at all, so here you go. ;)
I decided to give every video a separate CP question for this one, see above.
It's been a while since I uploaded someone else's soundtrack, I hope you enjoy. :)
If the copyright holders want me to take this down, please let me know without issuing a copyright strike, as I am uploading this for the purpose of remembering these old tunes, and not to make a profit out of it.
