A VOCAL EXPERIMENT
During these challenging times, making music and creating art were and are two of the things that I would pour my heart into. I would challenge myself and just see how and where it goes.
I have always thought and dreamt of recording a popera piece that's leaning more towards the classical sound. No, I didn't go to a conservatory but I've done lessons with the late great Manong Nolyn Cabahug and Ms. Elaine Vibal.
I am always in awe of the likes of Enrico Caruso, Mario Lanza, Placido Domingo, and Andrea Bocelli. But one tenor caught my attention during this pandemic via youtube, and I am learning a great deal from Luciano Pavarotti. His charm was unobtrusive while demonstrating and teaching at his masterclasses. I am still way far from sounding like any of these tenors that I've mentioned (because that will never happen as I am my own voice), but I am just content with how I am discovering my voice and what else I can do with it at 52.
Here's something that has been a long overdue request.
