Trump's first impeachment - 2020
The second day of impeachment hearings got off to a tense start as Republicans pushed House Intelligence Chair Adam Schiff to hear their “points of order” regarding concerns they had with how the hearings were being conducted. Schiff did not recognize Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, and instead criticized the White House for not cooperating with the impeachment inquiry against President Donald Trump. The House Intelligence Committee heard testimony on Nov. 15 from Marie Yovanovitch, the former U.S. ambassador to Ukraine who was forced out of her position after a smear campaign led by Trump’s personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani.
