The New Downtown Circle Dubai - An Engineering Masterpiece

Dubai is very well known for its groundbreaking mega projects. For instance, we have the tallest building in the world, the Burj Khalifa, the Burj Al Arab, which is taller than the Eiffel tower, and many more big projects that solidified the city's name in the gold placard. And now, they are going far deep into the future as they intend to build a huge circle around the world's tallest building. Few towns have experienced the rapid and remarkable growth that Dubai has over the past few decades. The Downtown Circle proposal, which would have a circular skyscraper create a ring around the Burj Khalifa 550 meters above the streets, has plans to alter the metropolitan skyline.

The Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest skyscraper, stands at an astounding 829.8 meters (2,723 feet), almost twice the height of the Empire State Building. And around this gigantic building ZNera Space, an experimental architecture firm, has proposed a conceptual design in Dubai that includes a massive five-story circular structure wrapped around it.
