Rail cars carrying “intact” hazardous material derailed and burst into flames in a remote area of North Dakota on Friday, July 5. Officials said no one was hurt in the incident in which 29 rail cars went off the tracks.
While wind carried the smoke away from the small town of Bordulac, authorities say they are monitoring the air quality near the site of the derailment.
