When I found myself with a garden full of Ailsa Craig Onions some years ago I looked to YouTube to get some advise on preparation and storage. Being told Ailsa Craig's didn't store well put the 'frighteners' on me but I needn't have worried. I managed to store my onions for about 5 to 6 months which I thought perfectly acceptable. That's another 'Myth' put to bed.
