This Modification to my small rig camera cage for my Canon Mark 2 was needed to clear the tripod mount that is integrated into the Viltrox EF Ef-S to EF-M mounting adapter. The hole on the Viltrox for the screw that held the tripod mount in place was not a blind hole and I was not willing to run the lens without it mounted in place. As it balances so much nicer off of the adapter mount.
