5 things I wish I knew as a first time poultry farmer before starting to avoid all these losses 😭
A month ago I started a poultry farm for practices. I started small because I did not want to encore so much loss since it was my first time. I started with 85 chicks and quite frankly I wish I knew better before started
So far I have lost a number of chicken or hens due to my lack of knowledge of poultry.
It's a lot of work depending on what type of chicken you are keeping. The food differs from the hens are one day to three weeks and every other thing.
So let me share with you what I have learnt on the job as a first time poultry farmer so that you and I can do better next time
