And thus, it's time for the final update and Route for the original OL. There were moments I really liked Baxter and moments I found him super weird so I was curious how I'd feel after the DLC and whether I do like him more than Cove or not, I'm not sure. I think both dynamics are fun. As per usual, old dialogue gets skipped over to focus on new stuff and we kick off with a re-do of Soiree from Step 2.
I go back and forth between a few options in this playthrough and I still don't know which I like best (or who would be the "Canon" choice for Jemma in my own playthroughs).
I definitely had a lot of fun though, but will admit I was surprised it wasn't as angsty in the end as I expected-- the ball started rolling faster there than I was ready for. Similarly, I kind of expected Baxter to be more forward, but maybe something was off with the choices I picked.
