Police are looking for two men accused of carjacking a woman at gunpoint then abandoning her infant brother at a gas station in DeKalb County.
Officers said the men ambushed a woman as she tried to get into a car with the 7-month-old baby on Pleasant Point Drive just before 10 p.m. Sunday. The victim told police the armed man left, but the other guy got into her car with the infant. As he drove off, the woman got on top of the roof of the car, before flying off into the street.
Investigators said the man left the baby at the QuikTrip gas station minutes later on Wesley Chapel Road. The child wasn't hurt.
The female victim is now at Grady Memorial Hospital recovering injuries as a result of falling off the car during the crime.
