So far we've been to Vienna and Salzburg, so it's time to visit what is supposedly 'the most Instagrammable place on Earth", apparently inspiration for the Frozen movies - Hallstatt.

Yes, it's picturesque, mindblowing etc, its great to see the dusting of snow on the trees and the mountains across the lake. But it's the middle of January, pretty much everything was closed and took a long time to get there (3 buses - in the next video!).

The biggest issue was overtourism from predominantly Chinese tour groups - extremely loud, totally oblivious and (some) acting in a disrespectful manner towards locals and animals.

But what do you expect? Every highly popuar tourist destination is like this. The point is, on a short trip, you will probably want to go there as I did but you may leave with a combination of joy and disappointment. I'm not gonna bullshit you, it wasn't all that.
