This Dried Scallop and Pork Porridge is a classic Chinese New Year but it is also eaten on regular days as well.
In this video, I'll show you how to buy dried scallops and how to prepare them for frying. And also touch on the type of rice and rice-to-water ratio for porridge.

Ingredients (2-3 servings)
100g uncooked Rice
1L water
8-10 Dried Scallop (medium size, soaked in water overnight)
100g Ground Pork
8g ginger
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1 stock green Onions
2 Tbsp oil
1 tsp salt
2 Tbsp Fish Sauce
1/4 tsp white pepper
1/2 tsp Sugar
