This is a quick video showing my 3018 cutting black cast acrylic.

The noise in the video at the beginning is a compressor switching off next to the machine.

Spec and parameters;

3018 CNC
3040 extension kit with spoilboard
Rattmotor 500w ER11 brushless spindle with PSU
Genmitsu all aluminium 52mm spindle carriage
HGN12H linear rails on Y axis mounted on 2 20x20 extrusions
HGN12H linear rail mounted underneath the X axis extrusion and connected to the bottom of the z axis with a plate machined from 10mm acrylic on the 3018 (in my opinion this is essential if you are using a 500w spindle, the weight is too much for the guide rods, having this linear rail removes all flex from the axis and allows you to take very deep cuts with no issues)
