1291. The Templars stand on the walls of their final great stronghold, and defend it against the attack of a massive Mamluk army. 1314, the last Grand Master of the Templars, Jacques de Molay, is bound to a stake at Paris. But before he burns, the Grand Master pronounces a curse, that God will avenge his wrongful death. This is the history of the final struggles of the Knights Templar. What led to the French king’s arrest of the Knights Templar? Once these men had been the King’s close allies, why did he suddenly decide to have them all destroyed? And what is the truth of the matter? Were the Templars heretics, blasphemers? Or were they wrongfully accused?
