The grounded difficulty is the most challenging and realistic experience. Listen Mode, HUD, and other gameplay elements are altered in this game mode. This difficulty raises the stakes by not only making enemies deadlier and ammo, upgrading, and crafting materials incredibly scarce, but also removing invaluable tools for survival, such as disabling Listen mode, deactivating elements of the HUD, and more.
Bill's Town is a chapter taking place in rural areas, during which the title ally appears. There will be more encounters with the infected here than usual. A large skirmish with the monsters occurs in the school building, where a strong infected known as bloater is encountered for the first time. This is the fourth main chapter in The Last Of Us and sees Joel travel to Lincoln, Massachusetts, in search of Bill, an old friend that owes Joel a favor and may help them find Joel’s brother and former Firefly Tommy who may be able to locate the remaining Fireflies. The chapter includes a section where you’ll be able to explore the center of Lincoln and enjoy several endearing moments with Ellie.
