Austin City Limits began its 20th season on PBS on January 15, 1995, with an episode featuring CMA Entertainer of the Year Vince Gill, and Junior Brown. All 13 episodes are taped in Austin, Texas.Austin City Limits has used the theme song Gary P. Nunn's "London Homesick Blues" since Season 2 (1977). Terry Lickona has been producing Austin City Limits since Season 4 (1979), now he's currently the executive producer. Gary Menotti has been directing Austin City Limits since replacing Allan Muir in Season 8 (1983). Bob Selby has been the lighting director of Austin City Limits since the 1974 pilot episode featuring Willie Nelson. David Hough has been the audio engineer for Austin City Limits since the 1974 pilot episode featuring Willie Nelson.
