On a sunny day in July 2021 my boys and I visited Wirzweli, the “Witch Mountain” (Hexenberg), a mountain plateau at 1200-1600m altitude located in the heart of Switzerland, above the Engelberg Valley.
Our aim was to hike one of thematic trails for kids there: the Weather Witch Trail (Wetterhexenweg). We really enjoyed this cute trail that follows the story of the Weather Witch in a series of lovely stations. Our little one enjoyed it a lot.
After hiking Weather Witch Trail, we strolled through the Owl Path (Eulenpfad) where we observed owls. Before returning back home, our little one enjoyed playing at awesome playground (Hexenspielplatz).
It was another wonderful family adventure.
