This 63 year-old patient was referred to us by her dentist. The dentist had a major concerns about her widespread gum disease, which was unstable and progressive. Our main concern was a large cyst at the back of the mouth which was precariously close to the nerve that supplies the lower lip. This was not a straight forward case. We treated the patient within a short period of time and reversed the condition and removed the cyst successfully.
