Here's my classical guitar cover/arrangement of Paul's Dream by Hans Zimmer from the 2021 movie DUNE. I didn't have the chance to see the film in theaters until recently, but I'd been listening to this specific track (Paul's Dream) on repeat for a month beforehand. It felt like it just had to be played on my classical guitar.
If you haven't heard the original, you can check it out here. It's an absolutely beastly track. [ Ссылка ]
Massive shout out to Beyond the Guitar/Nathan Mills for providing so much inspiration (and pro tips) regarding arranging music for the classical guitar. Shout out to the entire Bard Army, as well.
FAQs:
What are the other instruments on the track?
Everything you hear was produced with either guitar or voice (throat singing).
What do you use to record?
For this performance, I played a Cordoba 45 limited. Audio recorded into Logic Pro X using a pair of SE 8 condenser mics running through a Scarlett audio interface.
Is there such a thing as too much reverb?
Absolutely not.
Can I get the tabs/sheet music?
Definitely. Subscribe to stay tuned because what I ended up playing on the recording differs a bit from what I originally orchestrated. I need to update my sheet music.
