Russian President Vladimir Putin met Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov on Thursday (September 28).
The meeting comes three days after Kadyrov published a video of his teenaged son beating up a prisoner accused of burning the Koran, an incident on which the Kremlin refused to comment.
It also follows speculation about Kadyrov's health which the Chechen leader has rejected.
