Andres Castellanos gives us a peek inside growing up in the US/Mexico border city of Tijuana.
—
The border between the United States and Mexico has been the subject of much controversy over the past few years, but Andres Castellanos has a unique perspective. Andres has lived in the US/Mexico border city of Tijuana his entire life and crosses the border every single day to attend school in San Diego, California. In this personal Talk, Andres explains how growing up in a bi-cultural city helped him appreciate other cultures and feel more connected to humankind. Andres encourages us all to look to what we can learn from other cultures and embrace the many ways in which we are united.
