Maria Teresa Voso, MD, University Tor Vergata Rome, Rome, Italy, discusses the etiology and clinical presentation of therapy-related myelodysplastic syndromes (t-MDS) at EHS MDS 2021. In particular, Dr Voso discusses the role of clonal hematopoiesis of indeterminate potential (CHIP), complex karyotype and somatic mutations such as TP53 and PPM1D.
