"I would like to reiterate on the importance of the dialogue between religions. It is important to get to know other religions, and to acknowledge them, to respect them, to recognize them, to activate co-existence.”
"The Muslim citizens, cannot even though they represent the majority of Iraqi society, they cannot strive alone. And after the visit of Pope Francis in Iraq, we should see that the Iraqi government is supporting this cause through the media, through other channels."

The Seventh annual commemoration of the #YazidiGenocide was held under the patronage of of His Excellency Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al Kadhimi. The two-day commemoration took place on Zoom on August 2-3, 2021 and was hosted by Yazda in partnership with The Zovighian Partnership.
We welcomed 35 speakers and panelists with over 300 delegates and more than 14,000 live online followers.
