Horror games are a very special genre because they're probably the only genre where the length of the game doesn't affect the overall experience. A short horror game can sometimes satisfy your horror appetite more than you would expect, and this is simply because it succeeded in reaching your mind very fast. Short horror games are also perfect for people who want a straight-forward playthrough that gives you what you signed up for without taking much of your time.
