Sheep are an unfair advantage on any farm that seeks profit. There is no other animal on our farm that is as low maintenance as our St Croix cross hair sheep. Cows would starve to death on land that sheep stay pig fat on. With their thick winter hair coat, they really excel in the winter period. An animal that can give you twins eating the weeds in your pasture gets my attention and respect.
