Dr Emily Dawson discusses the HPSC0091 module Science, Technology and Identity. This masters level module looks at issues of identity and social justice with regards to science and technology. Beginning with John Rawls' ideas of distributive justice, the module looks at different ways that society might consider things to be equitable, before looking at the ideas of equity and identity through a range of different lenses, and ending on a look at how an intersectional approach to identity might have an effect on how society views science, and vice versa.
